Bleach 12.5% (Industrial)
Big Bubble's industrial bleach is a solution of 12.5% sodium hypochlorite, commonly used as a powerful disinfectant and stain remover in various industries such as healthcare, food processing, and sanitation. This high concentration of sodium hypochlorite allows for effective removal of stubborn stains and the killing of a broad spectrum of microorganisms including mould.
How to Use
Removing Moss/Algae From Limestone:
- Apply bleach to affected area (neat or diluted)
- brush solution into wall to allow it to penetrate
- Allow solution to settle and react for 5 - 10 minutes
- Pressure wash/hose off well
- Repeat if necessary
It's important to note that bleach can be damaging to some types of stone and may discolor or lighten the limestone retaining wall. Test a small, inconspicuous area first before applying the bleach solution to the entire wall. Also, be sure to follow all safety precautions when handling bleach, including wearing protective gear and working in a well-ventilated area.
Killing/Removing Mould from surfaces:
-
Use neat or dilute, depending on the condition of the area
-
Prepare the area: Make sure the area is well-ventilated and all surfaces are dry. Wear protective gloves, eyewear and a mask to protect yourself from bleach and mould exposure.
-
Apply the solution: Apply the diluted bleach solution to the affected areas using a spray bottle or a sponge. Ensure all affected surfaces are covered.
-
Let the solution sit: Let the solution sit for 5-10 minutes to allow it to penetrate and kill the mould.
-
Scrub the area: Use a scrub brush or a sponge to remove the mould from the surfaces. Be sure to scrub the area thoroughly, including any crevices or hard-to-reach spots.
-
Rinse the area: Rinse the area thoroughly with water using a hose or a bucket of clean water to remove the bleach solution and any remaining mold.
-
Repeat if necessary
-
Clean up: Dispose of any remaining bleach solution properly and wash the equipment used to apply the bleach.
It's important to note that bleach can discolor or damage some surfaces, such as fabrics or certain types of countertops, so test a small, inconspicuous area first before applying the bleach solution to the entire surface. Additionally, ensure that the area being treated is well-ventilated, and never mix bleach with other cleaning products or ammonia, as this can create toxic fumes.
