Angelica Root is an essential gin botanical which provides an earthy and herbaceous flavour to the spirit helping balance against juniper and spice flavours.
It also used in combination with Orris Root to to bind volatile flavours and aromas which usually would be lost during hte distillation process in a process known as the fixative effect.
